We turn charters down
A party of twelve for three nights in August looks like money and costs a refinished aft deck. The owner sees the enquiries worth seeing, and hears about the ones we declined and why.
Central agency Β· fourteen yachts under representation, Monaco and Antibes
A central agent works for the owner: filling the calendar, protecting the asset and saying no to the charter that will cost more in damage than it earns. Fourteen yachts, because the fifteenth is where the attention runs out.

For owners

A central agent with ninety yachts is a listing site. At fourteen we have been aboard all of them this season, know which crew are leaving, and can tell a broker something true about each.
Owner's use is blocked first and never quietly moved to fit a booking. It sounds obvious; it is the commonest complaint about central agents and the reason most owners change.
Photographed at handover and at return, with the APA reconciled line by line inside fourteen days. Charterers are not billed for wear, and owners are not asked to absorb damage.
βThe previous agents had her booked out for eleven weeks and I still lost money on the season once the repairs were counted. These ran nine weeks, said no to three enquiries, and the boat came out of it in better condition than she went in.β
